Event – SolarTech Turkey 2014

SolarTech Turkey 2014
Green World Conferences will take place on January 27 – 28, 2014, in Istanbul, Turkey.  This event will bring together top solar energy technology companies, project finance providers, developers and installers. and allow your company to market itself towards high-profile audiences across the entire supply chain.

Turkey is the sixth largest electricity market in Europe, and one of the fastest
growing globally. Increasing electricity generation from renewable energy
sources is one of the country’s priorities in order to meet the growing
electricity demand and diversify away from expensive, imported fuel sources.
Turkey is aiming to connect to the grid 10 GW of solar capacity alone by
2020.

Solar energy is one of the most promising sources
because of the Turkey’s climate. It has been calculated that Turkey receives
sunlight equivalent to roughly 11 thousand times the amount of electricity
generated in Turkey in 1996. Turkey has an average 2640 hours of sunshine per
annum and the average solar flux exceeds 5.8 GJ/m2 annually. Clearly, both
photovoltaic and solar-thermal systems could be used to great effect. Use of
solar thermal is already widespread. In 1995 it was calculated that solar
thermal generated 52,000 tonnes-of-oil-equivalent of heat. Indications suggest
that this could increase six-fold in the next 15 years. The potential for PV is
virtually unlimited, and the price for these systems is declining rapidly.

SolarTech
Turkey 2014, a strictly business-to-business conference and
exhibition will be held in Istanbul on 27-28 January 2014. The conference addresses the most important current and future issues for the solar energy
market in the country.

Over two days of sales conversations, meetings
with customers, suppliers and new contacts, top insights from seasoned industry
experts and – above all – high-level networking, the event will bring together
top solar energy technology companies, project finance providers, developers and
installers. and allow your company to market itself towards high-profile
audiences across the entire supply chain.

The conference programme is one
of the leading in the world with key-note presentations, leaders’ panels and
specialised breakout sessions – over 40 top experts have been selected to take
part in the programme, all because they are leaders in the
field.

Business cards
exchange

The conference
opens with a unique opportunity to meet and exchange business cards with around
150 people directly involved in the solar energy development – this could be the
fastest, most beneficial and enjoyable interacting with C-level executives you
will ever do and it’s a brilliant introduction to successful networking
throughout the entire conference.

Located in the networking area exhibition will
hold exhibition stands where leading solar energy technology companies will
showcase their technologies and solutions for the industry. Register for the
conference
