This free event will take place on Thursday August 21 to Sunday August 24, 2014, in Bridgewater, NS. The 6th annual Growing Green Sustainability Festival is dedicated to sustainability. It is a fun and colourful introduction to the idea that we can work together to ensure that all human and non-human communities are being sustained on the Earth. The Festival is organized by the Town of Bridgewater, the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg, and many community volunteers, organizations and businesses.
At this festival you can find people who power their cars on vegetable oil or make their own clothing from scratch using recycled materials. You will also find organizations and businesses that will show you how you can more sustainable.
